SEPTEMBER 2019

Welcome everyone to the new monthly post! I hope everyone has enjoyed the past month of music as much as I have, because it came out with some quality, and even an album of the year contender. The mainstream was a crawl this month, with Post Malone being the only big name making it onto my radar, and it’s a shame this lone album was a little disappointing (beerbongs and bentleys was my Album of the Year last year, so it was an admittedly high bar to reach personally). However, the underground has been making a killing this month, with a plethora of amazing projects jacking up my top ten list. Most importantly, September (like last fucking year) was supposed to be Kanye month, but who knows what’s happening with Jesus Is King at this point, I just hope to Yeezus it hasn’t slipped into the same netherworld that Yandhi died in.

For the new monthly posts, I’ve provided a rundown of all of the posts over the past month, listed here for easy access to anything you might have missed. I’ll also highlight an album of the month, and a song/track of the month, with all of the appropriate links. Like I’ve said, the previous monthly posts have basically become the weekly write-ups, and there will be other write-ups as well for albums from the past to accompany the newer projects. I would love any and all feedback on this process, and I appreciate y’all tuning in every week to read and listen to me!

I’d like to thank everyone again for reading not only this monthly post, but any of the other content that I post here regularly. I put a lot of time into this; a lot of this is for myself and the accomplishment of indulging in what I’m passionate about, but the readers and listeners of TSDK are very, very important to me, and what really makes this whole endeavor worthwhile is finding out someone is listening to something new on my site that they think is fire.
